Wiring Melbourne’s workplaces since 1990

Commercial and industrial electrical compliance and repairs

Keeping Melbourne's workplaces powered, safe and compliant

Bryley Electrical has been wiring Melbourne since 1990. Over more than three decades, we’ve built our reputation on the sites where electrical problems cost real money – offices, retail outlets, rental properties, warehouses and manufacturing facilities.

Today, we focus on what matters most to the people who run those sites: fixing problems quickly, keeping systems in good order, and making sure every installation meets its legal obligations. We look after the whole electrical picture, so property managers, facility managers and business owners have one trusted contractor to call.

Our electricians hold A-grade licences, and Bryley is a Registered Electrical Contractor. All of our work complies with Australian Standards and OHS regulations, is fully certified, and is backed by $20 million public liability insurance.

Keeping businesses powered, safe and compliant:

One contractor for the life of your electrical systems

Rather than treating every fault or installation as a one-off job, we look after your site’s electrical systems from end to end. Our services fall into three areas: repairs when something goes wrong, maintenance to stop it going wrong, and compliance testing to prove your site is safe and meets its obligations. Together, they mean fewer surprises, less downtime and a clear record of every check.

Repairs

Fast, reliable fault-finding and repairs

When power, lighting or equipment fails, it costs you time and money. Our electricians are experienced at tracing faults across complex commercial and industrial systems – from tripping circuits and failed lighting to switchboard, three-phase power and data cabling issues – and fixing them properly the first time.

We plan our work to minimise disruption to your operations, keep you informed throughout, and leave the site clean and fully certified. If a repair points to a bigger issue, we’ll explain your options clearly so you can plan ahead.

Maintenance

Planned maintenance that keeps you running

The most expensive fault is the one you didn’t see coming. Our planned maintenance programs keep your switchboards, wiring, power and lighting in good working order, catching wear, overloads and failing components before they cause breakdowns or safety hazards.

We tailor each program to your site, whether it’s a single tenancy, a portfolio of rental properties or a warehouse running around the clock. Visits are scheduled in advance to keep disruption to a minimum, and clear reporting means you always know the condition of your installation.

Compliance

Tested, fixed and certified in one visit

Workplaces, commercial buildings and rental properties all have a duty to keep their electrical safety systems tested and maintained. Many testing companies can only report the faults they find, leaving you to book someone else to fix them. Bryley is a team of licensed electricians, so when something fails a test, we repair or replace it on the spot. One visit, one contractor, and your site is compliant.

Every result is recorded and logged, giving you the documentation you need for audits, insurers and your building’s essential safety measures reporting. We also keep track of when your next tests are due and remind you ahead of time, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Our compliance services include:

  • RCD testing – confirming every safety switch trips fast enough to protect people from electric shock, to AS/NZS 3760
  • Test and tag – inspecting and testing portable electrical equipment and leads, to AS/NZS 3760
  • Exit and emergency lighting testing – making sure lights stay on for the full required duration if the power fails, to AS/NZS 2293
  • Thermal imaging – finding overheating connections and components in switchboards and equipment before they fail
  • Rental property safety checks – the two-yearly electrical safety checks and annual smoke alarm inspections rental providers need under Victorian law
