Switchboard Upgrade-RCD's (Safety Switches)
Are you still the owner of an old school, fuse board? You know, the ones where you are outside in the middle of the night trying to replace the fuse?
These old fuse boards are not only impractical but also can be dangerous. It is not uncommon for fires to start in these switchboards as they can cause a lot of heat in the case of a fault.
It is also now illegal for new circuits to be installed to the old fuse board. Should you want to install a new Air Conditioner or a Spa, for example, you will need to upgrade your switchboard.
If you are buying a house, renting out a house or selling, a switchboard upgrade is a wise investment.

In the case of a fault on one of the circuits, only that circuit will be tripped and not your whole house. With a safety switch on each circuit, rest assured that you and your whole family will be protected from faulty appliances and earth leakage.
